Frequently Asked Questions
The camera isn't reading my blood pressure monitor correctly. What can I do?
Make sure the display is well-lit, in focus, and fills as much of the frame as possible, with no glare across the screen. If a reading is captured incorrectly, you can always tap to edit the systolic, diastolic, or pulse values before saving. If this happens often with your specific monitor model, email us — it helps us improve recognition.
How do I sync readings to Apple Health or Health Connect?
Go to Settings → Sync to Health and turn on the toggle. You'll be asked to grant permission the first time. If sync stops working, try toggling it off and back on, or check that SnapSana still has permission in the Health app (iOS) or Health Connect app (Android) settings.
Where is my data stored? Can I export it?
All of your readings are stored locally on your device — SnapSana has no account system and no cloud database. You can export a PDF summary of your readings at any time from Settings → Export for my doctor.
I switched phones — where did my data go?
Your local data transfers automatically if you restore your new device from an iCloud (iOS) or Google (Android) backup of your old device. If you had Health sync enabled, your readings also live in Apple Health or Health Connect and can be recovered from there. Manual export/import is on our roadmap for cases outside of a full device restore.
How do I cancel or manage my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed entirely through the App Store or Google Play, not inside SnapSana. On iOS: Settings app → your name → Subscriptions. On Android: Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions. See our Terms of Service for full billing and trial details.
How do I delete my data?
You can delete individual readings from the Records tab, or remove all app data at once by deleting SnapSana from your device (Settings app → General → iPhone Storage → SnapSana → Delete App on iOS, or long-press the app icon → Uninstall on Android). See our Privacy Policy for more on how your data is handled.
